New Razorock razor in the works

It's... alive!
I sold the DC plate on fairly quickly as I saw no real point in it. As mentioned earlier, I was expecting the .95 plate to be more blade forward and thought the lesser plate would be good for the ATG pass. Turns out this wasn’t the case. Although I really liked the feel of the OC side, the negative aspects of using a DC (more frequent rinsing and more fuss) outweighed.

Now a full OC plate would be interesting. If I recall correctly, the Lupo OC was considerably smoother than any GC OC. I can‘t make any serious statement about efficiency as I could only really tell with a side by side shave and have none of them around anymore.

One more thing perhaps. After several shaves with the Lupo .95, I‘m a bit disappointed they didn‘t make it just a bit more blade forward. I‘ve actually considered giving the baseplate some work with a dremel tool.
Cheers. :)

I had the same frustration with the Game Changer. Razorock sell to the masses and you cannot sell a forward blade razors to the masses.

The 95 and the Dual Comb look to be in stock at Shaving Time now. Looks like they've saved me some money because it was the 72 that I wanted, i think the 95 will be too aggressive for me.

Just nipped over to Shaving Time and snagged a UFO handle, had my eye on one of those for a while. Sadly still no OC GC .84 to be had.

I've already concluded that .72 SB is a keeper. Efficient as in no issues with 3 days worth of growth being mowed down easily, but no nasty bite lurking for the unwary. Probably the only stand out point re: usage is that a fairly steep angle is required, but it's easy to find

Lupo 95 is an Amazing performing razor. Gives you just the right amount of feedback to know its doing its job and mowing down the growth. Less blade feel than I anticipated. Wonderful BBS experience. The 95 Lupo hit all my sweet spots: Aggressive enough too use daily but not too Aggressive. Can be used 2-3 days of growth as well so very flexible. Good amount of blade feel. In comparison to my Blackbird Titanium-- The Lupo 95 has more blade feel. The Blackbird Ti is both smoother and more efficient, BUT it appears results are the same after 3 passes (Blackbird Ti only needs 2). On paper you would expect a Wolfman or Blackbird to blow out the Lupo 95, but the reality is that it's so close in all the important attributes to Experienced shavers that I now rate the Lupo 95 as the best bang for the your hard earned buck in all of wet shaving. (Tied with Yates H, but Yates is more expensive). To me the Yates H is smoother but the Lupo 95 is more efficient. Lupo 95 though still maintained it's Smoothness throughout the shave. This razor hand down, at least to me (YMMV) CAN PLAY WITH THE BIG BOYS. I have it ranked higher than Carbon Cx any plate, GC 84, Tatara, Timeless, CG Everyday, Homelike razors, ATT Windsor. It's a way better razor in my experience than Rex Ambassador or Envoy. Closest razor that I had tried with exact blade feel is the Alpha Outlaw But the Lupo 95 is more efficient and comfortable/smoother.

Just tried the Lupo .95 with DLC halo handle on two days growth and wow, what a performer!. I wasn’t sure how aggressive it would be so paired it with a forgiving blade the Raipara Plat. Lux. I didn’t find it aggressive thankfully but efficient and very smooth.

I had tried the .72 on Saturday for 24 hrs growth and found it o.k, need to try other blades.I had it paired with a Wizamet S.I. Both are keepers for sure. I found the .95 Lupo smoother than the Tatara Nodachi, had less blade feel and perhaps a notch or so less efficient despite the smaller blade gap. I have moved on the Tatara.

An impressive first shave with the Razorock .95 SS Lupo. A very comfortable and highly efficient shave that had me done in 2.5 passes with a tiny weeper next to the Adam’s Apple but, a very satisfying BBS finish. Angle was easy to get from first stroke and keeping it there was practically second nature as if I’d been shaving with it for months. Not proclaiming it to be the best razor out nor the best in Razorock’s stable. Just a real good start to a long weeks worth of shaves with this impressive tool. Yes, I do have a poop eating grin in anticipation for the shaves to come....

Great evening and shaves to all....

An early morning shave that was done in 2 passes. No buffing or touch ups required. Not that I had much stubble from yesterday’s great shave but, enough to get a quick one in. The shave was drama free without any irritation or a weeper to speak of. I’m very impressed so far with the .95 Lupo and its performance. And honestly, I’m like a kid at a candy store chomping at the bit at some gum balls & swedish fish. Just in this case, I’m salivating over a new razor pick up and getting my shave on. My Misses says I’m nuts. I say to meself, “Naaahhhh”.

Then again, she is the rational thinking one of the two.....:scratchhead:
