Thanks but those are high prices for a $70 razor, nearly double the retail. May need to buy direct afterall.

Italian barber is charging 60 usd in shipping (Norway) just for the base plates Does anyone know if it is possible to get the base plates from the UK or somewhere else in Europe? I have the dual comb, but i do not want to buy a new complete razor. I have enough handles

The lupo .72 seems a tad more efficient its a favorite of mine

KAI, Feather, Gillette 7 O’Clock, Shark Platinum, Ladas, Gillette Platinums & Black Ninjas have worked extremely well with the Lupo. But, my best results have actually come from the Gillette Platinums. Uber smooth feel and consistency with well above average sharpness & longevity. It helps that the Lupo is superbly designed with just the right amount of smoothness and blade feel. Pick a gap and just go to town. Yes, hell of a razor for the $$$.....

For me, it offers a bit more blade feel without losing hardly any smoothness, ease of use & maneuverability over the GC .84. They are quite close but, I give the edge to the Lupo .95 in overall shave performance.....
