New Razorock razor in the works

A really nice early morning shave with the Lupo .72 OC. I’ve been using it with a 3 blade rotation of Bic Chrome Platinum’s, Gillette Super Platinum’s & Gillette Minora’s. And each give excellent feel and cutting ability while maintaining a smoothness that just augments the shave capabilities of the Lupo. Regardless of the pass phase one is in whether ATG, XTG and WTG, the Lupo .72 OC just delivers a consistent action of cutting whiskers efficiently with ease of use and ease of feel on skin. Well, I say that with the reservation that this is my own personal experience with this iteration of the Lupo. I can count on one hand the mishaps or when irritation creeped up on me while using this razor and I’d still have a couple fingers leftover to grab my coffee cup.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Razorock/ItalianBarber nailed it with this series of razors in the Lupo Line up. Value, precision, quality and performance that nearly anyone can afford. One gets their money’s worth, have their cake and eat it too.

Second shave with my Lupo DC razorock. This second shave confirms my first excellent impression of yesteday. The 0.72 open comb is very comfortable and ideal for the first pass. The closed 0.95 comb is slightly more effective, you can feel the blade much more when it is on the skin. A few pds, however, I already like this razor. I will surely order the 0.72 closed comb plate for everyday and tired days.

A quick little bump to this thread. I’ve been all in some new razors over the past few months and actually almost 2 years now and some of my trusted razors especially the Lupo series have been getting some serious neglect from my shave routine. Decided to change that today and bring out a really good performer in the Lupo .72 Open Comb. I don’t have to go into details on the specifics of this razor as it has been described well here and all across the shave forums that abundantly abound on this series being a huge success in the DE razor landscape. The price is just right for a newcomer (under$100 US for a Stainless Steel made razor) and any grizzled wetshave vet that wants a top quality made razor without spending big or boutique prices for some of these creations. The Lupo .72 OC is just wonderful at doing what any good razor should do. Remove whiskers comfortably and efficiently without nearly giving it a thought. It’s not a mindless shave as there is some blade feel with the OC plate but, feel is minimal and comfort is near the max zone. As a daily it works great for me and with an extra day or two of growth, not a problem either. I do like the .95 SB plate the most of the sizes I own. However, this one is just plain easy and very good to use too. Solid, solid shaver.

I got in the Alpha Shaving handles package that Steve offered about 2 months back and I have to say, these are super impressive renditions of a barber pole handle (homage to the UFO handles). This one here is in the Ti alloy and it’s simply superb in hand and feel. Paired it up with the Lupo .95 SB from Razorock and it was an outstanding shave from start to finish. Awesome shave handles by @AlphaShaving.
