I have to say I wouldn't pay that much more for unseen differences.

I really don't know to be honest.
I guess it's like that you can sleep on a bed with a simple sheet or you can have a multi-thousand threadcount bedset - both will serve you well.
How good a sleep you got will take a lot of other factors into consideration -just like 'how good a shave you got' with that handle.
A lot of the "value" that I feel I get these days from shaving gear is that I support small, independent creative companies.
I "value" picking up a razor that I bought from an artisan that came up with the design more than I value picking up something I know is a knock-off of a item that is in production today.
That's why I really like a lot of these recent kick starters - often they fail..but they showcase a lot of creativity and originality and I feel good about putting my money where that creativity originated.
Is it worth $100 though?
I really don't know. That's probably extremely subjective,
Regardless, the handle does look great and I wish you plenty of good shaves

You would if your life depended on it. There can be faults within materials that can cause them to fail......but then that's transport components where life is dependant. Razor handles are another thing, but you want to know that what you have has been well checked and tested before it goes out to a customer.

I'm talking razor handles. My life doesn't depend on them. If I saw no difference, I'd have a hard time with a $100.00 price increase.

Would you find any difference between cartridge razor and safety razor? They both shave. What about Gillette Gel and Wickham's Super Smooth? To someone not educated in these matters like us, they're both razors and soap, both shave and so what. So too then with a Windrose and a Wolfman. If you've been educated to know the difference then you will, but you'd be ignorant to the facts until then.

There is no mistaking that the razors us enthusiasts indulge in are luxury items. Just like Swiss watches and high end motors. We all pay the price our wallets can stretch to. Wolfman are at the top end and as others have said it may have been polished on an angels thigh but other razors shave just as well. Horses for courses in the end

I can't see how Windrose could be earning a wage on those handles at them prices. I think it's pin money for his hobby and he works at an engineering company so gets free materials. It's the only rational explanation that I can come up with.
