-Dovo and Thiers still makes good straight razors. Yeah they are modern but they shave and hone well...stop complaining.

-Most modern DE/SE razors...None have improved drastically over the GEM SE, Schick Injector or Gillette Tech...why buy one.

-The hype over birth year razors...WTF???. You don't start shaving in infancy. I still have the Gillette Tech my Dad gave me when I was 15. It's not from my birth year. Just don't understand the logic on this one.

-Shaving lingo - especially the whole efficient/mild/aggressive pseudo scientific BS that gets debated ad nauseum. Don't get me started on Tier1/Tier2 yada yada yada on software.

-The endless Boar vs Badger vs Horsehair vs Synthetic brush debate - You like your brush...noish. Don't try to convert me like some apostate in need of religion.

-The P&G/Gillette/Schick hate - FFS grow up. Don't like their products or philosophy.. don't use them. Trying to paint them as evil geniuses that somehow killed wet shaving if full on retard.

- Fanboyism of any product, style or method. - Invest your fanaticism in something productive

- This post because it is just another shite opinion....but at least I am aware of it

When you ask someone if a soap is good or not:
9/10 he answers having in his mind the scent only and not the performance.

Many people want to buy a shave product, type it's name on the YouTube search bar, there comes a guy with a channel who tells "go take it, it is fantastic" and then they run to buy it and most of the times they write on the shaving forums that bought this product and how good it is, because someone with a channel on YouTube said it was good.

Bit of a rant about people posting opinions just to jump the bandwagon ..

A lot o chaps posted rave reviews about Tallow & Steel soaps. I don't care much of the scent in a soap but... Morrocco - mate this thing is not a soap.

"Morocco unlocks the intense aroma of the Atlas mountains - where wild roses are carefully handpicked at dawn by locals to retain the dewy morning freshness. It is from these roses that some of the world's finest rose oil is made. Nobody knows for sure how roses first came to this remote region of Morocco, but legend has it that merchants from Damascus introduced them to the area long ago.

Combined with the undertones of Mediterranean cypress and Atlas cedar, powdery oakmoss and the delicious smokiness of cade provide a perfect counterpoint to the sweet Moroccan rose."

Aye right... :roflmao: my personal opinion is that this soap scent is kinda used soccer socks covered in mud .

To all wet shave Youtubers & "Influencers" out there who gave your best to provide a solid and unbiased opinion ...paraphrasing my grandma ...

" Yer heid’s full o’ mince laddy ... "

I haven't smelt the soap but love the writing and like the speculative info about the roses.
If everyone just went "lathers good, bosh!", it would be a bit boring.

Aye ... i'm thinking of making a soap with a nice narrative : :D

"This soap's scent is heaven or hell .
A disaster waiting to happen .
Lather is a ticking time bomb .
It's like finding a used condom in your Irish Catholic-raised daughters room.
If Nosferatu had to shave, this soap would be his preference .

Oh and it smells kinda rosy ... "

Sorry, but you gave the impression a pundit wrote the description.
If the maker wrote it, then a pinch of salt is the prescription.
A used condom would never be found in a Scottish Presbyterian daughters bedroom, if it was... fire and brimstone?
