I just finished watching Money Heist on Netflix.
It was superbly acted by the whole cast, and there was not a single character I didn’t get to like.
Next up is Band of Brothers, it's been out a while but I have never heard of it until recently.

By chance I watched a program on NHK of a cyclist going round rural Japan stopping at specialist traditional skills including a cooper who makes beautiful miniature barrels for food and growing black bamboo for artists ink.

Not a program for everyone however

I'm a total sucker for a period drama and they don't get much better than this, I loved season 1, but season 2 is an absolute classic, Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light.

I'm a total sucker for a period drama and they don't get much better than this, I loved season 1, but season 2 is an absolute classic, Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light.

Whilst I agree that it’s a great watch there are a few things that I’m disappointed with. Unless I’d already read the book I don’t think I’d be able to follow the narrative in this series. Also, the uprising in the north was quickly washed over with nothing in the way of action scenes showing how the rebellion was put down. Probably due to costs - but it shows how the BBC can’t compete with the likes of Netflix when it comes to spectacle.
