SOC Butterscotch boar bristle / Baume.BE cream
Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite / B&M Nordost (AS splashup!)
Went with the orange theme today. The only thing missing from the photo is my orange mug which is the only item in my den that I’ve used for every shave in the last 12 years. The Gillette Platinum being extra sharp was my nemesis this morning. It’s been a while since I’ve used one in the EJ which is not an especially mild razor. I was obviously a bit lackadaisical, and there was a little irritation on my neck near the Adam’s apple. It is fine now, but certainly got my attention as it happened. The most interesting part of the shave was the Baum cream. I’ve had it for nearly a decade and today was this first time using it. I need to adjust my water:product ratio…

Thursday 16th April...
The Dorco Titan #3 was still nice and sharp this evening and gave a great shave. I could probably get to #4 but at that cost there's no need to push. This soap is lovely to use but I'm still too nervous when I whip it up. I need to be more confident and not worry about how much I'm using. That's what it's for.
A lovely lovely shave tonight to the sound of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Perfect
