Prep: Warm shower:/ BULLDOG Lemon & Bergamot Energize Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 48.
Face Lather.
Lather: Derby Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D2)
Razor: Baili BD 177 Rose Gold TTO.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./Gummy Traditional Turkish Lavender Cologne./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Early morning shave.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report from the Baili BD177 to finish my shaving week off on a high note.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.😉

I have been using the Nord Razors Freyja with the three dots baseplate (Efficient) rather consistently these days. Paired with a Gillette “Black” (Super Platinum). I have compared it to a Yates Precision 921 H plate (and it performs better, even though the Yates 921 H is really not a bad piece of equipment) and to the Carbon CX Plus plate - the Carbon has more blade feel and therefore seems to stop me from doing things I tend to do with the Freyja (don’t imagine anything wild or unruly, though …).

Brush is an Omega synth brush; the last weeks I have used Saponificio Varesino’s Desert Vetiver throughout.

As per usual: quite a bit of modified Thayer’s Witch Hazel (with a few drops of glycerin) and then Tatara’s Honour balm (which is also very good).

I can really recommend the Freyja Efficient plate - it’s indeed efficient yet feels very safe (especially in my neck area where ATG always invites special care …).

so lefty was cooperating a little better and we decided to try a full shavette buffing... got 2 tiny slices around our heiney chin... our technique was off butt the shave gear did their jobs good... we're smoof and sniffing good...
