It felt like the Royal Mail strike action was a personal attack. I have been wet shaving approximately ten years and in that time have had a lot of razors move through my hands but this is something else.

No, no it is not. Though it is the same model. I purchased this on the 28th August and have been biting my nails, waiting patiently, for Royal Mail to deliver since.
My word is it aggressive?! The comparisons with the original pre-2013? R41, going by exposure and shave feel are totally justified.
I've lusted after one of these razors on looks alone for years. But what I didn't know, until today, is that it shaves like the old R41, or it certainly looks and feels that way to me.
When I calmed down, went and had the maiden shave, I then took a few more pictures.

It really is beautiful, and manages to look futuristic and retro at the same time.

Also, great to see it being paired with what I presume is an Indian (or Chinese) Gillette Wilkinson Sword, a humble blade intended for the Indian market.

Lovely. After every shave, you remove the blade and clean the razor with a soft toothbrush and some dish or hand soap.
