Polished Claymore Evolution kindly traded with cash for my Hone 15s from @Andy_Shaves. I’m looking forward to trying this out over the next few days, the feather is loaded and ready to fly! I was down to one SE after giving up my Hawk v3a. I hope it’s as least as good as that! Only really have a Vector or Stando Rod I’d like to try still, (I’m aware the mongoose and general are near unobtainium!), ok and the proposed Tatara SE which I’ll likely buy based solely on the experiences I’ve had with the Masamune and Nodachi! I actually like the handle in the flesh better than I thought I would. It has some weight which I like, I really can’t wait to try it out!

Lee, you will like the shave you get with with this razor -especially with a Feather ProGuard or regular Professional. I'd avoid the Feather Professional Super blades unless you have a very heavy / coarse beard.....they are the most aggressive blades that Feather makes due to more exposure and they do require a modicum of respect. I really like my Claymore Evo, but...... once you try the Vector......

I loved my first shave today, I was dubious about the handle but it works superbly, it just helps you find the sweet spot for balance so easily! Simple, smooth shaving with my favoured Feather Pro. I definitely want to increase my SE's in the den, however I'm going to try to hold out until Black Friday for the Vector unless one arrives on BST but they rarely do! That said I'm also torn between it and a Stando Rod. I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering whatever Tatara devise with their planned SE but I've no idea how long down the line that will be! I'm pretty with my DE's at present so this is my new rabbit hole to explore.

A few samples arrived from Maggards the other day, I tried the Rawr today and think I’ve finally found my orange citrus scent! It’s amazing! Off the puck I’m not convinced by the Kaizen which I thought would be a slam dunk for me, L’orange verte is ok, it had to happen some time and I found a A&E scent I didn’t like! Glad I only bought the sample now. Any Rawr going to waste? I’ve a few soaps I can trade?! I like it that much it’s straight in at the top of my order list!

Unfortunately that’s what happens when a certain Party crash the economy, the pound is at a 37 year low! Can you imagine the hysterics if Labour had done the same? Sorry I know I shouldn’t be expressing political views on this forum but it’s a very sad state of affairs the moment.

FWIW, the market is pricing in a 1% increase in interest rates as early as next week, if the £ continues to fall against the U$ - closed at 1.0865 last night.
