The Schone razor IS a Fatip razor made by Fatip and branded "Schone".
why bother if its going on your head, probably hand application is easiest and best.
I know some people have mixed feelings about it, I'm not really experienced with pre shave and only use the one and only proraso ive gotRight, what is a pre shave and why would you need it?

Yea might be best, just thought I'd ask and see how people apply their pre shave
I was just half joking. I tried a few pre shaves years ago and found that they did nothing to improve my shaves so went back to using none. My reasoning is that if your lather is good and so is your shaving technique then why would you need a pre shave.

Who knows, but it was not part of the "shaving scene" 50 plus years ago when I started wet shaving. I think a lot of things people do today are trying to make up for poor lathering and/or shaving technique. Actually there was no "shaving scene" back then. You just learned to shave with the basics that were available locally. Facial hair was not a thing in the work place or military back then either. You were expected to be clean shaven.
