you think so? i mean alcohol is other stuff like hand sanitizers for example but they dont resemble alcohol bottles

No, but Giesen & Forsthoff does have a similar head design in a safety bar and open comb variants.
I had the open comb, and while it was a decent shaver as far as that sort of head geometry goes, the thread did not last very long, which was a shame.

I think Dana Trading used to offer the head on eBay, but you can find whole razors sold in the UK as well.

ive got a ted baker de razor which im yet to use, its a hybrid one side SB and other OC,
the SB side does look like an r89/de89 clone, so im hoping the OC side will be the same too

follow on question you know how the vintage gillette new comes in LC and SC,
is there any modern razors that come in different length OC, like the LC and SC for example?

if not, why do you lot think they dont?

I reckon it was mostly to diversify their lineup.

nah the ted baker is different to the yaqi flipside, i'll double check when i get a chance to see if the heads are identical but yea both are hybrid razors and im yet to try both of them out

Guys I've been using my first synthetic brush for the last month or so, aT2, and it's lost its shape a little with some gaps in the top. Is this normal for a synthetic?
I've only used Boar before and they splay out wider with time whereas the Simpsons seems to keep its shape overall.

Only happened to me when there was leftover soap still in the brush that I can remember.

btw why do so many aftershave bottles look like alcohol bottles?

Maybe the most likely reason is that those are the cheapest wholesale 4oz glass bottles on the market?

Thanks. I gave it another good clean and it helped a bit but still doesn’t have the uniformity of when it was new. I’ve nothing really to compare it too as it is my first synthetic brush so I’m not sure if I’m worrrying about nothing or not.

You could try combing it with a wide tooth comb if you have one, just a bit from a few sides to see if that helps.

anyone tried the nivea liquid shaving cream?

on offer on amazon uk at the moment, did see it in the high street store superdrug but like nearly a fiver so wasnt keen lool but tbf at like just over £2 i think i could give it a punt from amazon

anyone know if the schone razor which is like the fatip oc razor is available to buy?

if so, how much do they generally go for new and how much second hand roughly?
