Like I said...Not really.![]()
Also...Seems accurate to me.
There is a second definition of 'an advocate or champion of a particular cause or idea'.

I don't find your theory satisfying. The origin of the Greek word simply means the main or primary character.Like I said...

While the protagonist is often “the good guy” at odds with a villain or antagonist, the protagonist can also be an antihero. Whether or not the protagonist is good or evil, the audience is generally supposed to empathize with this person and understand the motivations that propel the character to do what he or she does.

You're using slotted rather than Pozidriv? Heathen. :PModern screws are rubbish!
Trying to fix the fence and the slots burred out before I could get the wretched things sunk in.
Bah!

They were crossheads, might have been Posidrivs, I can’t tell the difference. You're using slotted rather than Pozidriv? Heathen. :P
If they are not Posidrivs, they may be Philips head screws. They were crossheads, might have been Posidrivs, I can’t tell the difference.

Recycled using unknown mixed alloys,... screws, nuts and bolts, everything is crap now. Engine builders are having trouble with lifters not surviving break in. We can't have nice things any more.Modern screws are rubbish!

That may be part of your problem, Phillips and Pozidriv are not interchangeable. Using the wrong screwdriver can lead to it camming out and ruining the screw head. Pilot holes too small can exacerbate this as you’ll need to use more torque. They were crossheads, might have been Posidrivs, I can’t tell the difference.
