It looks like I put my order in just at the right time, it seems Connaught will not be restocking these blades! At least you have the medical supply house there in the US.

I bought 250 yesterday morning off the back of our conversation. I couldn’t add 500 so I assume I took the last multipack.

It’s actually the first time I’ve bought any razor blades in several years. I’ve mostly been using Med Preps, 7oc Blues and Blacks, Wizamet Iridium Supers and NOS English Wilkies.

I’m currently going through a sampler I bought years ago. I’ve made my way through a few Mostochlegmash blades and haven’t been impressed by any (and so have low expectations of the remainder).

The current blade is a four-shave-old Rubie which has been excellent. I’ve got Nacets, Platinums, Silver Blues and Kais up to try next. I’m hoping there’ll be a new easily-available favourite in these five.

Nice. What are the scent profiles on these? Which of his previous vetivers is Vetiver closest to?

Ben, Hoi An is predominantly a spearmint scent with citrus in the background. I believe there's Patchouli in it.

The Vetiver is similar to the last Vetiver before the soap base changed. It's more smokey than green, but not excessively so. It's not "creamy" like Haitian.

AP knots on custom maple handles. SynBad and Cashmere at max size, but set deep. They look and feel now like 26-28mm. A lot of backbone, due to knot density and short lofts. Tons of lather with great release and ofc the super soft tips and natural feel, especially the SynBad. My best synts so far.
