L'Occitane Cade shaving gel in a can is the best I've used. Initially behaves much like any canned gel but once it's on your face you can keep adding water to it for added slickness without it collapsing like regular canned foam... It feels more like a proper shaving soap lather. Shaving once a week a can lasted me nearly a year so not bad value really.
I’ve bought the Speick can and some Speick balm and that way I can also include some Speick Cream which he can use brushless and see the advantage of the better medium.
