Only had my Aeropress for a couple of weeks but the inverted method is the one I do all the time with it. Really impressed with it, I have been experimenting with various grind sizes on coffees I blind buy and even used it as a dripper, just don't use the piston. I also use a Hario V60 in my experimentations.
I'm still a newbie to total manual bean to cup coffee prep but it's another rabbit hole I seem to have fallen down. A couple of cups a day is a real treat, sometimes it hit's the spot and others it doesn't. I like this game!

I've been using an Aeropress several times a day for 8 years now and the inverted method is the only way to go.
I'm now considering an Aeropress Go to take to the office when not working from home.
The office coffee is dismal.
Any reason why not?

I have absolutely no reason to say no.
The Go has the mug too & packs up super small. It has the 3 cup max capacity and in the inverted method on the regular one I probably take up half or one cup anyway with the piston in there to make sure it doesn't come out on the flip. I didn't know about the Go when I got mine & probably would have got the Go first off had I known.

I do tend to make someone the odd cup. The cleaning lady loves the smell of a fresh brew coffee. My line manager thinks I’m posh !!! Lol !!! He’s an instant coffee man, not in the same office or I’d be making him coffee.

I also use the inverted method, its just easier. I have the metal Aerdisc filter which came with the Kickstarter edition of the Aergrind, which is a good little grinder and fits inside the plunger for travel. It gives a little more mouth feel at the expense of the clarity you get from paper filters. My post lady likes me because my bean deliveries make her van smell nice

Not had an issue in 8 years. Give it a try.
A few drops of water on the filter paper keep it from falling out when you put the cap on.
I had an office day today and just opposite the office is a coffee roaster with a little cafe and shop.
I went in to buy some Aeropress filters and went out with an Aeropress Go.
Local business and slightly cheaper than Amazon. Win-win.
(I think I need to add the Aeropress patent to my website)

It's a Cremina (w/ Niche Zero grinder). I bought it about 6 months before Reiss brought out the Londinium otherwise I would have been very tempted by the extra chrome

I have another kilo of Fudge Blend on its way with some Christmas blend. Thats if it gets here through the Postal Strikes.Rave Fudge 12g, 16 click grind Timemore C3, 175ml 95° water, 40 second bloom, V60 pour, frothed milk, cocoa sprinkle.
Brew time 3 mins.
