Love a floater/Irish coffeeReminds me of an Irish coffee taken after a meal, something you don’t see much of anymore but I liked one after a meal.

It seems they call it dalgona whipped coffee.View attachment 123107
Made this with my daughter a while ago now, can’t remember what you call it, but it’s whipped coffee on milk. Whipping coffee and I think it was sugar makes it thick after a while.
That’s the one !It seems they call it dalgona whipped coffee.
Is it a hot chocolate product? The Italians have something similar, thick hot chocolate at the bottom, strong black coffee in the middle and cream floater. It is called a bicerin.
Never stirred, I think the idea is that you try and drink the coffee and chocolate through the cream.
Looks damn gorgeous to my eyes

I think our countries have different names for some of these products but here goesIs it a hot chocolate product?
Now I have had the chance to prepare a few dripper brews the high caffeine initially was the beans I was using not the method as they were the first ones I had tried.Try reducing the dose or making the grind coarser. Caffeine is water soluble so the longer it’s in contact with water the stronger it’ll be.
Who knows! They have already been air dried once, before roasting, but the roasting process might affect it. Let us know how it goes.I wonder if I can dry the beans and grind them after ?????
I quite like the Guinness Coffee. It will be a couple of weeks until the Coffee Vodka is ready. I haven’t tried this before, only Cherry Vodka and Cherry Brandy using the Cherries from the Cherry Tree in our garden. I will try drying the beans, but like you say I’d imagine a weak brew with the oils reduced.I reckon the alcohol will have taken all the coffee oils out of the beans, so it'll probably be thin and without crema. Worth doing it for an experiment though, do let us know. Also how do you find the coffee vodka? I like coffee more than vodka but the 2 could work. (unlike the coffee Guinness which sounds ace but is neither fish nor fowl and I found it disappointing).
Will do. Next stage will be adding sugar, thinking of going Demerara.Who knows! They have already been air dried once, before roasting, but the roasting process might affect it. Let us know how it goes.
