Which shaving stick should I try...

...before I go large and commit to a twelve stick box of Arko?

I have tried only Tabac and Palmolive before, both of which I like but the smell of Tabac grates on me (somehow Arko’s doesn’t?) and Palmolive has been quite a while ago now, I don’t quite remember it. Please save me from myself!

TOBS do a nice Sandalwood. Don’t do what I once did though ! The Shave stick and deodorant looked the same, with out my glasses on I picked up the wrong one. I was lathering away, thinking this is crap soap. I put my glasses on, you got it, it was then I discovered deodorant doesn’t lather.

Wilkinson or La Toja are worth a go in my opinion

Speick is quality. I like D R Harris as well but it's pricey and you get less. De Vergulde Hande is another good one. Razorock do a few, there's LEA, La Toja, La Savonniare du Moulin, Derby, loads!

Found Connaughts to be the best place to buy sticks as they stock most of them, fill yer boots! They're cheap as chips!

Speick, La Toja & Lea are great. Speick is probably the only soap you really need.

What about VieLong stick? Haven't tried this one!

Good performance but I get sick of the scent of Palmolive stick, I prefer the cream which smells a bit fresher/less like Grandad's dopp bag.
