Which shaving stick should I try...

I’ve had good results from Mennen shave sticks in the past. Cheap and effective.

Wilkinsons shave sticks are very good and at a price that is hard to beat.

Vie Long was the same as the tallow Lea stick. Out of stock/production, with Lea only making the Palm Oil one.

I'm a huge fan of shaving sticks and I prefer to use one than loading from a tub, I get better control of my lather. IMO, it's difficult to look past the German tallow sticks Tabac, Wilkinson Sword, Palmolive and Speick for price and performance. The Valobra stick was good as well, but it's difficult to get hold off now and I think the lather's not a million miles from MWF.

Valobra is a brilliant soap but I have found it slightly drying when compared to Speick.

I sliced my Speick stick and pressed it into a tin. I miss it as a stick and would not do this again.

It’s great stuff, I highly recommend it.

5 sticks grated into a bowl, the only problem I can't find a good original sticker to put.

Great scent and good slickness.
