whats the most you've paid for a razor? (all types included se/de/straight etc)

20 bucks with free shipping, it was my first Goodwill 162 Gillette.

I went back and checked, and I only spent ten bucks on that razor. However, last year I spent $93.69 including tax and shipping on a 1936 Gold plated Aristocrat open comb razor, and although I absolutely love that razor, I feel like a damned fool for paying that much. I haven't purchased anything this year.

Difficult question to answer without waffling on and justifying it.

I think most of use ignore the cost when it comes to desire and money burning a hole in our pocket

It's a very well made razor which looks and feels premium. And does feel something a little special in use.
