The baked potato that I was not able to eat last night due to unexpected change of plan. 
Wife's short term memory must be going. While talking about dinner, she said get whatever's on sale.
Off to the grocery store and found only two manager specials; beef tenderloin and Denver steaks. Tenderloin was 60% off, cheaper than ribeyes so came home with a package of two steaks. One steak get wrapped for the freezer, the other one was salt & peppered and rested until room temp. 2 min/side on a very hot sizzling cast iron pan, then into a 400dF over until medium rare. Broccoli and fried potatoes, onions and garlic rounded out the dinner.
Had a couple slices left over, so got out a couple quesadillas, some sliced asiago cheese and EVOO and made a steak quesadilla for lunch.
Tenderloin is very expensive. With the sale, my wife & I spent about $3US/meal not counting the leftovers for lunch.
