What razors have you moved on from?

I have moved away from Rockwell 6S - twice!! I sold it once, gave it another chance (read: bought it again ). And I am selling it again

It's a very fine razor in terms of geometry. However, it just wouldn't cut efficiently for me. It get's a little better if I shim it, but still not good enough.

Additionally I have moved away from RR Mamba, Schick Krona.

There was a time when I used Bic disposables, I have permanently moved on. As far as my DE and SE razors, I still have and use them all, no such thing as bad razors.

Started with some cheapo plastic Wilkinson Sword razor I picked up in boots to start wet shaving.
Then moved to a Muhle R89
Currently on a Maggard MR18C

The R89 and the MR18C feel fairly similar to me.

I get a decent shave from the MR18C, so dunno whether just to stick with it, or try a different one and see if I get a better shave.

It was one of the reasons, as well as trying to not look like I used a belt sander to shave with.

I've bought many soaps and a few brushes so far, so the money saving part hasn't kicked in quite yet. Might pick up a nice razor as well and leave it there.

On the plus side, once I do settle on a set up or two, I'll have several years worth of supplies

My only one is the Gillette slim , I just never got on with it , looks great but just didn't click for me .
