I've been to an Australian Vets Hospital with my father who served in Vietnam, and he's also became deaf get old. DVA or VA in Australia doesn't proivde more hearing audiologists and hearing technology inside of the system. Outside of the vets hospital (DVA or VA) system that's provide MORE audiologists and hearing technology, and the goverenment paids for ALL DVA or VA veterens in Australia.
Well the VA in the USA is different then in OZ. My Cousin is 100% Service Connected from Hearing Loss, the VA give him & his wife 4,000 + Bucks a month disability pay.

In Australia veterens get a DVA Gold Card is like a health insurance for life, you get go to any hospital, health specialist, audiologists, etc etc, anywhere in Australia.

Interesting to hear how different countries support their VETS

I don't like some of Canada's "healthcare".

  • After legalizing MAiD in 2016, Canada became a world leader in assisted suicide and euthanasia.
  • MAID has become the fifth leading cause of death in Canada.
  • People have been encouraged to die due to poverty, disability, and mental illness.
  • Veterans have also been increasingly speaking out about being offered MAiD when they try to access health care.

I just said " Interesting to hear how different countries support their VETS " . That was just an observation on what had been said and nothing else. I don't feel motivated or care enough to comment on what others may or may not have to deal with.
