The herpes zoster vaccine is the only one I have not received and not because I do not think it works or because I am anti-vaccine. I've contracted HZ twice, as well as chicken pox in 2 grade which resulted in the only three days I missed school from 1-12th grades.

I have heard from people in London who are really struggling with colds and flu, one man said he had got over the flu but it took four weeks and he was off work for 12 days, one day he could not even get out of bed.The cold that’s been hanging around me for a couple of days has finally come out fully.

Transmission must be an issue, he travels on the Tube at peak times and is uncomfortably close, as in pressing together, to other passengers. Sounds like hell to me.
I would buy a Honda 50 rather than put up with that.

Are folks opting out of the influenza vaccine? I contracted influenza in 1987 which manifested as a form of small joint arthritis. I gotten the vaccine since.

I haven't had the flu jab for a few years and try to risk manage the chance of getting the flu by avoiding contact with people who may be suffering. Mrs Vac makes a point of thorough handwashing as soon as she comes into the house.
