Just finished the final season of The Sopranos. What a great show. Brilliantly written. And it doesn't hurt that I live in the area where lots of it was filmed. My only complaint was how it ended. What a crock. I sort of remember being ticked off when we watched it years ago. Oh well. Tonight we started watching the current season of Bosch. I've enjoyed that series up to now and the first few episodes of this season did not disappoint. After Bosch we will move on to Billions.

The Sopranos really is exceptional. It set a new standard for quality TV drama. I watched every episode when they originally aired, then watched it all again later on DVD. Faultless writing, acting and directing.

The ending is certainly controversial. I remember staring at the screen thinking "is that it?". I eventually concluded that the lack of resolution was a fitting end to the show.

Channel 4. Click on Drama or search for Walter. Loads and loads of excellent European TV series, most with subtitles. I'd recommend these for starters:

started revisiting the comic strip presents... on all 4, starting with my favourite, mr jolly lives next door later on ill be watching nathan barley, which seems to be one of the most underrated comedies chris morris has done, i thought it was utterly fantastic, im looking forward to watching it again.

Watched Dennis and Lois Documentary this morning. A 70’s plus couple who are still going to gigs in their 70’s and know so many bands. Very interesting, what a cool couple.
