That was my first shave with that blade. It provided a great shave. There was not very much audible feedback like a full hollow blade. On the other hand it was not as quiet as a near wedge either.
I own several rattlers. When I buy them it’s usually because they appeal to my eye.
My preference is still to shave with a full hollow razor
but like to use my near wedges, framebacks and rattlers for variety.

Thank you. My preference are "silent but deadly" razors, i simply can't get used to the scraping sound that a 20th century full hollow makes, especially my biggest 6/8.
