Few years ago my blood test showed my cholesterol level at 6.7, it has been high for the last few years and the doctor told me to take Statins, I have never been a fan of medication and did not want to be on something for life, my other option was to cut down on red meat, prawns and lots of other stuff, do regular exercise and eat healthy, I took the 2nd option, I looked into Statins and other alternatives,
I ordered a tub of Plant Sterols 800mg as food supplement and took 2 a day, ate red meat, prawns and lots of cake, went back for blood test after 6 month's and the test showed cholesterol level came down to 5.4, I have nothing against Stains or other medication advised by doctors, this is just me and my choice.
