Very nice,
The Kai has got 7 shaves on it now, although most have been 2 pass shaves it was still really smooth today.
The Tabac has 1 or 2 more shaves left in it so it should be done this week.
Enjoy your day all.

Pre shave: Hot shower and Neutrogena glycerin soap bar.
Razor: 1960 Gillette 195 Adjustable.
Brush: Captain Fawcett Synthetic V.
Soap: Glasgow soap co Iron Brew.
Post shave: Nivea men sensitive cool post shave balm.

Another good one, today.

3 smooth passes with no issues.

The Fatboy continues to sing on setting 7.
I was going to brave setting 8 but familial distractions and demands were causing my focus to ebb, so I thought it was best not to chance it just yet.

The soap performed brilliantly, made all the better by the glycerin pre shave and smelled amazing while doing so.

Have a good Monday!

Moonday February Second, Twenty Twenty-Six's Shave Of The Day was good...

PreShave: nothing
Lather Gear: Yaqi 24mm Synth Mountain Lake whipped up Taylor of Old Bond Street Mr Taylors Shaving Cream in a Captain's Choice Copper Aquamarine bowl
Razor&Blade: bdayish 1974 Gillette #84 Super Adjustable loaded with Shark SCSS 1 buffing WTG(3)
AfterShave Gear: Omega Alum Stick then Stirling's Deep Blue Sea PSB

so the sample of TOBS shaving cream is oldish and dried up(?) being harder than shave soaps we're used to... and using the typical amount of water we use for lather was too much and a bad lather was whipped up... no bleeding or irritation with some stubble left on the trouble spots and we're sniffing good...

Have a Good Week and SOTDs ATGSrs...

Blade: Schick Schick Injector
Soap: Mitchell's Mitchell's Wool Fat Tallow.
Brush: Highlander TSR LE2023 Boar with Omega Professional knot
Pre-Shave: Mr Myrsol Emulsion
Aftershave: Aramis Aramis EDT

Notes: This little unassuming razor gets hardly any use from my den purely because it seems to get hidden behind my other razors.
It's a shame really as it never fails to deliver a first class shave that beats pretty much 90% of the razors in my den and it cost peanuts to buy.
A cracking 2 pass face shave with the MWF Tallow soap that only comes out for Fat February.
I feel fantastic after that
Enjoy the night everyone.
Toodles.

Merkur 33c three piece razor
Treet durasharp blade
Harry's razor
Gillette Foamy shaving cream
Aqua Velva Cooling sport aftershave
Bod Man fresh blue musk body spray

Hot shower prep with Old Spice Swagger body wash

I had to make a run into Inwood to pick up the last prescription I was transferring to the new (to me) pharmacy. No time to soak the whiskers. Hot shower and foam on a wet face. I did the first pass with the DE to mow down the majority of the beard. I lathered up and did the second pass with the Harry's. It's better than no shave but it leaves my skin grated and stubble on my chin and jaw. It wasn't worth the irritation to scrape it closer. Aqua Velva sport to finish and Blue Musk to carry it on until evening.
