Glad you made a profit. It is my most least used brush. I like the handle but hate the floppy knot with oversized bloom.

It wasn't much of a profit really, I'm just trying to ease the pain. You have thankfully reminded me of other reasons why I sold it ... too big a knot!

Hmmm seems the Black Rose soap may have been the source of the irritation I’ve experienced the last two shaves. I’ll find out today by using the reliable and excellent Eufros Sirio. I’m a handful of shaves away from finishing off my two tubs of Eufros so I must get an order into Manuel soon. A very good shave today.

The new Nacet blade reminded me how smooth a shave can be, no drag, no skipping over coarse whiskers just steady, even progress. Dependable Tabac is a strong contender for the only soap you'll ever need but where's the fun in that? A relaxed, highly rewarding BBS+, 9.5/10 finish.

I have wait probably about ten years to find my Birth Year/Quarter Razor, I missed a couple over the years and almost lost this one but at last I have one in the den. It's not in the greatest condition and could do with a tune up but with some help from the community I got the adjustment dial sorted and had a decent shave. The soap obviously picked itself today but C2 is such a great scent anyway I wasn't complaining.
