First time with the Weber and it's a pleasant razor to use but nothing outstanding.
I think the attraction is the history and no longer being in production.
Bit of audio chatter from the blade, smooth in use and no irrigation.

SOTN (Head & Face)

Face - Rex Konsul, HC&C Year of the Tiger (soap & splash), Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade
Head - Leaf razor, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Treet Platinum saloon blades
AP Shave Co Silksmoke fan/flat top brush
La Roche Posay B5 Balm

First time using the Konsul after a good friend loaned me theirs (one of two razors he's generously let me borrow), have to say pretty impressive stuff!

Hi Adrian,
I have never had a problem with the opening on the EDT of CDNIM & the EDT has, in my opinion the best dry down of all of them & I have all of them plus a genuine 18G11 batch of Aventus.
I would suggest you go for the Limited Edition Parfum version of Club De Nuit Intense Man. It has no harsh opening at all, super smooth & while the late dry down isn't quite as good in the respect of the strength of the dark birch tar note compared to the EDT version it has it & is one of the best Aventus clones you can buy. I would much rather use that over my genuine one 👍
Regards,
Nick
I agree, both the standard CDNIM edt and Parfum are wonderful, I’ve not tried the limited addition but by all accounts it’s the best version. The Parfum is a beast strength wise, the EDT slightly less so but they both last all day for me, and one of the few scents I regularly get positive comments on at work, (I’m a primary school teacher and there’s on two other males on the building!) The opening can be a little much but I think the lemon soap is an over exaggeration, plays after 10 mins it settles into a very good Aventus dupe.

A delightful morning shave and day at Rhossili Bay. Even my daft dog splitting her tail and splattering me with blood so we both resembled crazied serial killers couldn’t put a dampener on things! She’s a Dalmatian and there were more red spots on her than black at one point!

Here’s the killer dog washing it off in the sea giving me a typical Dalmatian ‘smile’ it only added to the serial killer look!

Absolutely Lee.
Folks take such minor differences too far. CDNIM, what ever version you get is better than the current pi55 Creed are offering. They are living on past glories & certain clones have taken the lead imho.
One could thank Creed for the invention but it's all about Greed now!
Since the buyout I would never buy another, it's a waste of money & only brings disappointment compared to the original ones back in the day.
