I agree, both the standard CDNIM edt and Parfum are wonderful, I’ve not tried the limited addition but by all accounts it’s the best version. The Parfum is a beast strength wise, the EDT slightly less so but they both last all day for me, and one of the few scents I regularly get positive comments on at work, (I’m a primary school teacher and there’s on two other males on the building!) The opening can be a little much but I think the lemon soap is an over exaggeration, plays after 10 mins it settles into a very good Aventus dupe.Hi Adrian,
I have never had a problem with the opening on the EDT of CDNIM & the EDT has, in my opinion the best dry down of all of them & I have all of them plus a genuine 18G11 batch of Aventus.
I would suggest you go for the Limited Edition Parfum version of Club De Nuit Intense Man. It has no harsh opening at all, super smooth & while the late dry down isn't quite as good in the respect of the strength of the dark birch tar note compared to the EDT version it has it & is one of the best Aventus clones you can buy. I would much rather use that over my genuine one
Regards,
Nick
