Sometimes you just need a mild razor. I have thing on my jawline the blade on the goodline keeps catching. The Van der Hagen works right over it. The Arko cream makes a great lather even though it smells like plain soap. I got three lathered passes and residual slickness from an almond sized dollop. Near BBS results from a vlade at the end of its useful life. The witch hazel neutralized any discomfort from the cream and a generous application of English Leather brought the shave to a successful conclusion.

Wrights Traditional Bar Soap with Coal Tar Fragrance.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Tub to Face Lather.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack.(D2)
Lather: Grated Arko Shave Sticks.
Razor: Yaqi DOC Mellon Razor Head./Schmidt R10 Handle.
Post:
Cold Water face Rinse./cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./Boots Freshwood ASL./Boots Freshwood ASB.

First Early morning October shave,
The mild Yaqi DOC Mellon ("The grand shave king self lubricating razor clone" razor") paired up with the Treet dura sharp makes a smooth efficient razor & blade duo. A great shave to start the month off wonderfully.
Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Freshwood ASB.
My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
