I have really enjoyed using these "Beginners" razors for the past few days, proving you really can get a decent shave from these very reasonably priced bits of kit. For me, I think the Gillette is a touch more efficient than the Muhle or EJ basic variants.

Hot shower prep with Axe 3 in 1 wash

I gave the Rapira blades a fair shot but the edge didn't last through the first pass. The rest of the tuck went into my blade safe and I loaded up a Goodline blade. Second pass went well. It wasn't my closest shave but it will do. Aqua Velva musk to finish.
