This week I have tried a new soap, years ago when I started traditional shaving, this was one of the classic triple-pressed soaps, but I didn't get it and it was discontinued
This year a friend gave it to me and I hadn't tried it yet
Hard soap, triple-pressed, rounded bar like Musgo Real's that looks like it will last three lifetimes
Easy to load after 5' of soaking and it works well on the face, you get a Tabac-type lather without any difficulty.
Lather that sticks well to the face, softens the beard very well, slides and protects correctly. It leaves a greasy layer that allows for touch-ups
Post-shave more than correct, leaving the skin clean and cared for without a greasy feeling.
I read that the scent was the worst thing about this soap, but I personally like it (since it doesn't add anything, it doesn't get in the way either), a non-invasive "cosmetic" aroma, typical of any face cream, it doesn't overwhelm, it doesn't bother or interfere with the after shave
No itching, no redness, nothing like a good industrial soap, with all its load of dermatologically tested chemicals
A very, very correct soap, similar to what a Tabac, a MWF can be... that perfectly complements any collection
Enjoy your weekend
