Hot shower prep with Axe 3 in 1 wash

This is a bit of a nostalgia shave. I haven't had a shave with the 1904 in years. The Arko did admirable duty for the more traditional William's. I lathered up a little drier than usual and let it sit while I transfered some things to the photo area. First pass I got good reduction on two days growth. The second pass was near BBS with no irritation. The razor is quite nimble in the hand and I had less trouble holding onto it. A very generous splash of Clubman put the finish to this weekend shave.

That was the most amazing shave. The twin blade result was so close and smooth. Well pleased Mike @MPF9 gifted them with the Schick I.

A nice enough shave with the angle critical Supply on #2 plate, i basically use the same angle as i would using the vintage Schick / PAL injectors. 3 passes today for a very comfortable DFS+ finish.

Tried the Avanti with a modern Gillette London Bridge blade and it still feels asymmetric so I might need to get the vernier calipers out to check this but it did feel a bit smoother today (but not the adjustment knob, that’s still as rough as a badgers arse.)
