First two shaves with the Avanti and a Nacet blade where underwhelming- one side feels a touch more aggressive than the other and it feels a touch rough but that might be the blade as it wasn’t a great shave in the Ti Blackbird. The adjustment knob isn’t that smooth either (I have cleaned and lubricated the threads - I think it’s the surface between the knob and the handle).

A decent citrus mix, the Prime blade was smooth but not especially sharp and I needed 3 passes plus pick-ups and still couldn't quite achieve BBS. The cream and balm are as cheap as you can get but still adequate performers. The Gillette splash and Cambridge Knight EdT rounded things off nicely. Enjoy your week everyone...

The Nacet in some razors feels rough, you are right.
