Just think that 50 years ago, I was having a Shave before our Wedding. Cannot be fussed about any special celebrations, just going to see Grandson who just happens to be 2yrs old today.
Anyway, had a really super Shave with the excellent Vintage cart, which delivers irritation free Shaves every time.

My Shave today consisted of...
Prep Imperial leather Soap.
Brush Goodfellas Smile Wild hog.
Soap Stirling Black Ice.
Fine mist sprayer.
Razors OneBlade Genesis & ikon Tek.
Blade Personna Med Prep (2).
Aftershave Stirling Black Ice splash.

Tonight I was going to use the Osprey but I saw the iKon Tek on the rack and it's been a while so why not.
The Osprey being so smooth even on level 9, I didn't realise how spoiled I had become.
As soon as I started shaving with the iKon I thought wow this thing is a beast especially with the Med prep. The blade feel is huge and and lack of attention would have paid off with a missing cheek.
It never used to feel this dangerous but saying that I throughly enjoyed the shave.
I did a two pass shave and now baby smooth.
Now let's talk about the Modified Gem blade in the Genesis razor.
I tried to shave my head tonight and with only a day's growth and again it just couldn't manage it, odd because the Feather FHS-10 blades shaved no problem.
In conclusion the Gem modified is OK for face shaving but not for both.
I might just stick with the Feather blades for how often I use the razor and get the best shave possible from it.

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega S10018.
Face Lather.
Lather: Pears Transparent bar Soap + Wilkinson Sword Soap bowl.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack. (D2)
Razor: Parker 94R.
