GEM Bullet Tip with GPTFE blade (4)
Zenith olive wood 506 unbleached boar
Fine’s 3x milled Snake Bite soap
Fine’s Snake Bite AS (

)
Antica Barberia Mondial Original Talc AS (

)
Two passes with necessary buffing, sorry to say. “Necessary” because the Bullet Tip is not the world’s most efficient razor. And apparently I’m a glutton for the sting. Sure enough, the alum block was blunt and to the point. So, while I dig the
great auditory feedback (sounds 100% like buttering toast if you’re into that sort of thing), the BT gets me to a DFS at best. Even with annoying buffing. By comparison, the Clog-Pruf seems more efficient
and more blade forward than the Bullet Tip. I can live without too much blade forwardosity. And fwiw, in a sidebar tangential imho sort of way, for my needs neither vintage GEM razor satisfies as much as my polished Blackland Sabre V2. Levels 1 and 2 give me just what I need in terms of efficiency and face feel. But damn! Those old tto beauties look so good! The sharp eyed observer has surely noted by now the depleted bottle of Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite Aftershave Splash, may it rest in peace, reflected in said razor’s cap. The Snake Bite soap in the Old Spice mug has a great old-timey vibe with the wood gripped, unbleached Zenith brush, and is always a swell summertime treat. Greatly appreciated when I shlepped to the post office in feels-like-over 100° F today! And for a little bit of refinement to top it off, Mondial original talc splash, a new favorite

It’s so nice I want the soap and edt!
Two passes with buffing, DFS. meh.
