Merkur 33c razor
Shark super chrome blade
Noname synthetic brush
Eton College Collection shaving cream
English Leather Aftershave

Warm shower prep with Old Spice Fiji bodywash

This was a no fuss celebration shave. Two passes a little trouble spot buffing. English Leather was enough in this case.

Short status note. All labs came back good. My A1c diabetes indicator is back to almost normal and my blood lipid levels are within acceptable range. On the downside I'm still fat and bald.
Congrats on the results!

Congratulations on your progress. We have to cheer @chazt on!!

I am curious if you shave the chin as I do by rotating the tang/shoulder?
I of course wish @chazt the very best of luck in his journey. 🙏

My method is this. I shave down the chin with my lips in my mouth to lift up the skin. I shave down and then make another run going down almost over the edge but not around the curve of the jaw line. Then I pull down on the neck and shave the flat surface under the neck. The win comes next because with a shavette I can shave all of my chin/neck against the grain and so then I clear off what's left with ATG passes moving up. This I cannot do with a DE razor. I only make two XTG passes in different directions.

This method will no doubt evolve over time but I think this will be the bare bones of it going forward. I would like eventually to try one of the injector/artist club shavettes even if it's a Chinese copy just for interest to see how the more rigid blades work out.

All the best
Mark 🙂

The KAI blade opens up the efficiency on the L3 ERA giving you a very smooth, comfortable finish, i also find they have very good longevity, especially in Mild to medium razors.
Enjoy your day all.

Caravan shave - Why is it only 19 degrees here at Cleethorpes when it's 28 degrees at home (75 miles away?)
