Pre-Shave: Hot shower, Proraso White
Blade: Feather (4th use)
Razor: R41
Cream - Proraso Sandalwood Cream
Post-Shave: Alum Block, Nivea Sensitive Post-shave Cream, and New Republic Aloe
Awesome shave today. I played a little bit with the lather.
This is the first time since I got my R41 that I was able to shave two days in a row without causing any razor burn. This time I even did 2.5 passes. I did nick myself a little below my lip, but it was small.
Very pleased with my performance.

Blade = Gillette Platinum Plus ( 1 )
Brush = Alpha 400 Travel Synthetic
Soap = Signature’s Londinium Sample
Splash = Myrsol Blue
Balm = Loccitane Cade
After receiving the Parker on loan from @NotTheStig along with some blades & some soap samples from Signature this could only be the shave for me.
I do have have 4 Signature soaps but i definitely need this one in my life,
And top drawer and for me pretty much unrivalled scent wise.
I could quite easily use it exclusively if i had to,
Signature is definitely in my top 5 with this scent being right at the top of the tree.
The Parker i’m in two minds about,
i’m unsure if it’s the razor or the blade i wasn’t so keen on.
i say that but i had a great 3 pass shave with zero issues so it’s weird for me to say there’s just something that wasn’t quite right.
i’ll use the same blade in my Pal injector & see how i get on there.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the razor or the blade but there’s just something i’m not sure of.

I agree that a combination of tools produces good results. For example, why try to set sideburns while wearing eye wear with a SR? I started a thread on a different forum branded The Daily Double. If nothing else, it lets you experience a collection of razors more easily.
