Not used their sandalwood, but I was given a sliver of Arlington when I bought something from BST ages ago. Wasn't bad at all if I remember right.

I am so glad I ran out and bought the Ogallala stick. Not only did it lather well, it had a wonderful scent. I am a big fan of Ogallala Bay Rum so this one will stay in my Dopp kit. The soap lathered up very similar to a Palmolive or Arko stick. One application and I built up enough lather for a very nice two pass shave and still had enough in the brush that I could have had another application. Nice soap!

The Boots stick was a mixed bag - Smelled like synthetic lemon & sweaty feet but gave a good creamy lather. And to be fair the sweaty feet odour did seem to mellow after a few uses. Or I just stopped noticing it.

My Brother Sent Me a Bit of Tabac & I Must Say I Like it..The Scent Reminds Me of those Old Ladies Coffin Dodger Hand Bags that I Used to Smell in Jumble Sales in the 60s & 70s..:wacky:

I Left the Top off to Tame the Scent Down & I Like it..:D

I very much enjoy the performance Billy. I only own the shave stick though. For some odd reason the scent is very enjoyable to me also. :highfive:

I'm a fan of the shave stick, not only for travel but sometimes at home when I'm feeling lazy as face-lathering with a stick is extremely quick and easy. My favourites are Irisch Moos and D R Harris, but the humble Palmolive stick is a stellar performer albeit with a scent that's nothing to write home about. I keep trying to go back to Tabac but have fallen out with the scent at the moment. :/

I wish more companies would make the 100g sticks like Maurer and Wirtz, they're more comfortable and faster as they cover a bigger area.
