I snatched the knot out, had enough synthetic crap, I have a nice 24mm boar to replace it with. That'll be the fourth knot in this handle that I know of.

Gee, I hope so! I have no reason to think otherwise. But it’s been a while since we were last in touch, maybe 2018/19? A lot’s happened since then. Time marches! There’s a few other older guys, ten to twenty years older than us who were around in the mid-teens that I haven’t seen in years. But tbh, I hardly look at many of the remaining shave forums/fora these days, and I’m not on face book or red it, so my frame of reference is limited. We can talk more back channel if you like.
