The truth lies in Ultima soap from Ariana & Evans.
No, the truth lies in Williams vintage mug soap and a boar brush!!!
I tried an A&E soap once. The scent was typical of most (not all) artisan scents, i.e., too strong for me. That seems to be a common thread amongst modern artisan soap makers. Some shavers love that, which is a great thing! I tend to enjoy the more modestly scented soft soaps. Vintage Williams otoh was right up my alley. A few years back, I was fortuitously gifted two pucks by an older shaver who was downsizing. I still have a puck remaining and really should enjoy it again! But first I must find another “just right” mug, as my Old Spice mug is currently serving active duty with a hard puck from The Netherlands :smug:

I've stopped buying A&E, when Peter keeps changing the soap's formula, and they are now all in glass jar's no plastic tub's. Too pricey.

These are the only two I’ve kept.
the 2023 TSN badger &
a SOC Mistura
The 2018 TSN LE badger was very special but only 24mm so a bit small and I found all the boars I’ve tried (which look bleached) too soft, even the 26mm 2023 TSN version so they were sold on.
