Mine doesn't have a glue bump, at least not one I could feel. I bought it used a few months ago, so not sure of the age.
It's not my favorite fiber though; I much prefer STF, Simpson proper, SynBad, or G4. The EVO feels less luxurious than any of them to me. A bit more stubborn, and mine has a slightly prickly quality to it.
