I've always wanted to try something from ATT but never seriously considered it... Going to put a few hours homework in as despite spending 3 years on the forums I have newb levels of knowledge when it comes to US razors. Even if they turn out to be rubbish it's something else to tick off the list :happy:

It's a brand I have to try too. Well I did try an S2 but found it quite rough...

Well there goes that idea :p:

I was looking at R1/R2/S1/S2 but need to read up and maybe pick some owners brains, I know Rob @Blackmass is a fan. I like the idea of interchangeable base plates without the awful Rockwell bulk.

Just heard back from Mulcuto, they apologised for the poor quality of the razor received and are going to ship out a replacement but would like the bad one returned in due course... Fair enough, as long as I dont have to foot the bill.

Update: Replacement received today, much better finish thankfully and have kindly (lol) been allowed to keep the original. Having enjoyed Rob's ATT on loan I can safely say the Mulcuto is not a "keeper" for me so the replacement will be on the BST shortly, the original I will sort out a pass around and see if anyone's interested in trying it.

I've been using this razor for a few weeks now and,for me,it is a keeper. It is one of the smoothest and most efficient razors I've tried (and I've tried a lot), without being rough or "aggressive" . I'm looking forward to the release of the ss edition.

I must admit, it is super smooth... Not sure about efficient though, what blades are you using?
