don't eat out much any more... & tonight with little time left... they decided to try a pizza place nearby... this place doesn't offer bacon... even as a pizza topping... cause i didn't want peanut butter again today or not eat till breakslow... i ordered a steak sammich & pickles with freedom fries... & was fortunate to not have tried the bacon soda we got the other week... it nearly filled the bacon void...

Speaking of odd flavours but an unrelated story

Thought I was in a timeshift, walked into a Florida shoe store with my wife, all the shoes were from the 1950s at 1950s prices but odd colours, beige and whites and not much stock, no more than 20 on display and nowhere to sit down to try on the shoes. Walked to the back of the store and there was a coin operated coke dispenser, bought a bottle for the novelty, I have never seen a drinks machine in a shoe shop, glass bottle at that, ice cold. Walked out of the store, three assistants again in 1950s clothes but they didn't say a word or even look at me.

As we went outside, first words my wife said, 'well that was weird'.

it's been awhile since i've seen weird soda flavors... & seen the bacon flavor in that old style candy store... the label is the store's brand... maybe that pickle flavor would be another i'd try...

I have a granddaughter who mixes cream with a Dr Pepper. It is called a 'Dirty Dr. Pepper". One daughter was making herself a suicide as we left our lunch together. I remember making them as a child.

Some restaurants have self-serve soda dispensing machines where various brands are available. A "suicide" is mixing them into one cup.
