I had a job 20 odd years ago and most of my clients were in the Middle East, they were a bit demanding to say the least and if they wanted some information during their working day or on a Sunday they expected an email response within 15 minutes.
Smart phones were in their early days and my work phone was a Blackberry with a key pad
Typing an email to Qatar Rail on the possibly of having a complete new rail system in place for the 2020 footie at 3am using keys that were too small for my fingers was enough to make me think that phones do not do very much to enrich my life.
This could have been a big mistake and there are days when I feel like I am being left behind when tickets, banking and everything else seems to be on phones.
