we're stupid & forgetful... hahaha... have had what we call an over-energy mood nearly a week now... & decided we needed to go somewhere during this beautiful day... took this walk over a year ago... a 6ish mile walk to a general type store... 3 there & 3 back uphill... which we're still recovering from... and made us skip our SOTD... some fun things on this small highway walk... a bunch of moths or whatever were nearly every-where & aminals around the small stream or whatever next to the highway... couldn't shoot any of them... we're too slow & clumsy whipping our dumbphone out... hahaha...

oh yeah we missed the partial lunar eclipse/red moon thurs/fri... as mentioned before because of a fun & close thunder-storm... we we're in the under 5 second count thing seeing the flash to hearing it... for figuring out how close the lightning strikes are... 5 seconds= a mile... we had a good amount under 2 seconds...
Sounds like a great walk. Good distance too mate

Poor Ted our Springer. He had an annual vet appointment today, not his favourite activity. Before going we decided to remove a knot in his fur. His fur is very fine and knots up very easily. For reasons unknown to us he is a very anxious sole so everything is a bit of a thing for him. Mrs Saint accidentally snipped his skin. Bleed a tiny bit but the vet advice was to heavily sedate him so she could stitch him up. She also removed a couple of other knots and clip his nails at the same time. Over £300 later and he’s all sorted but a little groggy bless him. Mrs Saint is mortified, but it’s just an accident and we do have insurance which will cover most the cost. Not that the cost is really a matter, he’s a family member. The vet has also given us some anxiety tablets which should make a groomers appointment a lot less of a thing for him. In the meantime he’s enjoying loads of fuss.
Glad he's doing ok👍

I woke up early around 5am, pottered about, trying to be quiet, at 6.10 I realised that Mrs Smith was going to be late for work and thought I should do the right thing and wake her up, obviously overslept.

Not sure that I have ever heard so much bad language in one sentence before explaining to me that it was a Bank holiday.

As i suspected, AI is behind the increase of junk email.
Not sure what is going on with my spam, it has gone from 10+ a day to zero.

I use Gmail, you perhaps know that you can set up filters for things such as 'contains certain words' or domains or particular senders. My list in filters must have been around 50, I cleared them all and the spam stopped, the opposite of what you might expect.

I get emails about documents to sign, or accounts that have been deleted, or card not going through. I have to go through them because I might miss something that went to junk for which I need to send to inbox.

Fortunately I am not getting emails form beautiful, young Ukrainian girls looking for meaningful relationships. :D

Made a complete fool of myself today.

I live on a hill, a few miles from town and when the wind blows you know about it, Had a grocery delivery, as you might imagine I like to have a chat with the van drivers as they unload the shopping, one man likes to talk about his garden, another his children, some talk about their vans and going electric, the weather is a popular topic.

They come from all over the world, settled, happy and working, all ages too.

The delivery man today was from Pakistan and we talked about the weather and how there was a sharp nip in the air.

'Yes' he said, that is why we don't like coming out here'

'You mean Asians?'

'No, van drivers'

I wished the ground had opened up and swallowed me.
