I do like the thought of a Pils I just dont like the handle. I may have to overcome that though as virtually everyone that has one raves about it.

Loved my Pils but the fixed handle is just wrong. It's too thin and needs knurling to balance out the heavy head.

Sorry to hear that Wayne not everybody’s cup of tea, I am getting quite addicted to them it’s a long process once you get used to them it’s a nice achievement. Double edge, single edge, vantage, straights all razors. what ever you chose it’s a good shave we are all after.

I had them and all the associated paraphanalia that comes with them. Strops, sharpening stones, pastes, etc. I got some nice shaves but it was just too much of a chore for me looking after them and keeping them shave ready so I sold the lot off in one go. These days I’d rather just pop a nice new blade into a good DE and throw it into a tin for recycling when it’s full. Much easier.

I must admit there is a lot involved, and there is a big layout compared to DE, it hasn’t bothered me so far.
