I'm done buying DE razors

As the title says, I have settled on a DE razor that works for me and see no reason to keep searching for DE razor nirvana. It is time to turn this hobby back into just shaving. I have also narrowed things down to a few soaps/creams that I will reorder when needed and all will be inexpensive yet good products. The same could be said about my choice of blades. Time to settle down and just enjoy consistently excellent daily shaves. It's been fun getting to this point.

Congratulations. :)

Fancy naming the current choices?
I suspect the razor is Lupo OC 0.95mm, but I'd like to hear what the rest is.

I'm in a similar spot, except I have a few more soaps to finish and several razors I like a lot I like to rotate for the heck of it.
That said, I'd been there before and came back again.

I was there on my DE’s until you lent me the Stando’s! SE wise I still want to get a Vector, Stando and Claymore it then I’m done! Ok then I’m pretty sure I’m done. Soap and splash wise I’m getting there, there’s the odd few soaps I’d like to get matching splashes for and I’m pretty much done.

I would not call it Nirvana. Just call me jaded after 50 odd years of wet shaving. It just seems like there is not much point in continuing to buy more razors. I still have others that would do for a change of pace if desired. The one that stopped me wanting to buy more is the RR Lupo OC 95 with RR barber pole handle.

You suspect correctly. There are only a few soaps/creams that I will reorder but I have enough others to finish off to provide some variety.

I see what you mean, but won’t you miss the variety? I have settled with about 12 razors, they all shave well and they suit me. But they all shave differently, although all of them in the medium-aggressive range. I like picking one in the morning and enjoying the way THAT particular razor shaves. The same I’d say about brushes. I have a number of Chubby 2 Manchurians, but they all feel different as the knot is set at different depths, but I enjoy each one of them. I took years to narrow down to these razors and these brushes….Basically, like a Russian doll, I found Nirvanas within Nirvanas

Why should he?
The last few years I’ve had no more than four razors, currently two.

I haven't bought any this year, best I remember, and I'm not really wanting anything, but I use all of what I have, won't be getting rid of anything.
